Special Features
Snorenz Oral Strips are designed to target the main cause of snoring – the partial collapse of the soft tissues at the back of the throat. During waking hours, the muscle tone of these tissues is quite firm. However during sleep they can relax and slacken. The vibrations created by natural breathing through the airways produce the sound of snoring. Snorenz works by actively lubricating these tissues which helps reduce the vibrations that can cause snoring.
The Snorenz formula is a blend of natural micro-encapsulated ingredients. Exclusive Spherulite technology ensures Snorenz adheres to the throat for up to 8 hours, giving progressive release
of actives for long-lasting snoring relief. It is designed to work throughout the night, giving you and your partner a peaceful
night's sleep.
What causes Snoring?
Snoring is the noise made by the vibrations of soft tissues in the throat when breathing during sleep. One of the main causes of snoring is the partial collapse of the oropharynx and hypopharynx. These are the tissues at the back of the throat, which are prone to slacken as we get older, carry excess weight or drink alcohol. During sleep these tissues relax even more and vibrations created by natural breathing through the airways can cause the noise of snoring.
During waking hours muscle tone keeps the airways in good shape – that is why we do not snore when we are awake.
The following factors and conditions are known to increase snoring:
- Weight: If you are overweight the throat tissues can be less firm and more inclined to vibrate when breathing
- Smoking: Smoke irritates the throat and can inhibit smooth airflow
- Certain medicines and alcohol consumption, especially before bedtime,
can increase snoring by causing extreme relaxation of the muscles
- Sleeping on the back can narrow the airways and partly block airflow, so try sleeping on your side instead
- Nasal congestion due to a cold, allergies or deviated septum can limit airflow through the nose which forces you to breathe through the mouth
- Other physical conditions such as a longer than normal uvula,
a thick soft palate, a poorly positioned jaw or enlarged tonsils can narrow the airway and cause snoring

Directions for Use
Contains 14 strips
1. Remove one Oral Strip
2. Place it on the roof of your mouth and allow to dissolve (20-30 seconds).
Do not eat or drink after application (repeat application if so). Snorenz is most effective if you do not drink alcohol at least an hour before application.
3. You can take more than one Oral Strip per night if desired.
Note: Alcohol & Snorenz
Snorenz is most effective if you do not drink alcohol at least an hour before application.
To clarify: Alcohol can be taken before using Snorenz - there is no interaction.
However, it is proven that alcohol causes snoring. Shortly after alcohol intake muscle tone is reduced and the muscles relax (even more so when asleep) and provoke the "collapse" of the muscular tube of the throat. Thus airways are restricted. Air speed goes up and causes flapping movements of the palate and the uvula, and partly of the base of the tongue causing the rattling noise.
It is recommended to leave a gap of approximately 1 hour between the final alcoholic drink and using Snorenz for the best results.
