Letters Scent to you by Bosisto’s

Bosisto’s have collaborated with Australia Post on a one-of-a-kind Eucalyptus infused stamp to be released on 17 May.

The stamp - part of Australia Post’s Farming Australia
issue - features new scent technology which allows Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil to be embedded in the stamp’s varnish.

When the stamp is rubbed the aroma is released,
giving consumers the unique sensory experience
of the Australian bush.

Bosisto’s began working with Australia Post last year
to create the stamp, which also includes imagery of the Eucalyptus polybractea leaves sourced from trees in Inglewood Victoria, where Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil is harvested.

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil stamp is one in a set of four showcasing Australia’s most iconic native plant industries: Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Australian Honey
and Australian Macadamias.

The scented Eucalyptus stamps are available in a collectors edition sheetlet pack of 10 (RRP $6.45) and non-scented varieties will be sold at face value in self-adhesive rolls
and booklets.

Eucalyptus Oil is considered the first “truly Australian” industry, established by Joseph Bosisto in Victoria in 1852.

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil is now approaching its 160th anniversary in the Australian marketplace – a remarkable longevity making it one of the oldest surviving, and still Australian-owned, brands.
