What's New: FGB in the Media Spotlight

FGB Natural Products was proud to play host to some well-known media organisations with Directors Peter and Tegan Abbott  interviewed last week by The Australian newspaper.

The story appeared on the front page of Friday’s Business section (8/10/10), sparking the interest of Channel 10 News, who visited FGB headquarters to film later in the morning.

With the cameraman and crew training their lenses on our production lines, Bosisto’s distinctive Parrot brand labels were beamed into living rooms around Australia on the 5pm news.

 

  

 

The attention focused on the implications of the Aussie dollar rise - with the media using FGB as an example of a typical Australian manufacturer and exporter who would be affected.

The Australian’s story featured comments from the Abbotts about the implications of the rise on export business, and the news segment – which aired on Channel 10 at 5pm Friday 8th October – featured footage of the bottling lines at our Oakleigh South site. The story also later featured on the SBS News.

FGB  Marketing Manager Aimee Jellett said she was proud to have the National spotlight shone on the company and its products.

“The fact they chose FGB and Bosisto’s as an example of an Aussie company competing in a tough global market… is both a huge compliment and a true indication of how much we as a company have grown.”
