Supermarket Wedding for Bosisto’s bride!

FGB’s Assistant Sales Manager, Corrie Walford always dreamed of walking down the aisle one day… she just didn’t realise it would be a supermarket aisle!

As part of a Valentine’s Day radio stunt for Fox FM’s Hamish and Andy show, Corrie wed her fiancé John at Coles supermarket on February 12 - surrounded by strung-up toilet paper decorations and shoppers watching curiously on.

Cheerful Corrie got into in the humorous spirit of the day which included John presenting her with a jelly ‘lolly’ wedding ring, and a three tier ‘wedding cake’ made from $6.95 iced sponges from the Bakery section.

Guests quaffed ginger beer and opened packets of kettle chips while they danced to the crooning sounds of Australian Idol Damien Leith after the vows.

Amongst the excitement the Bosisto’s brand was a big winner, with Corrie insisting on marrying – and being photographed - in the medicinal aisle, where Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil and Spray are stocked.  

Pictures of smiling Hamish and Andy and the bridal party holding Bosisto’s products were posted on the Fox FM website, and the radio announcers took home gift bags for themselves – plus plenty of new tips on using eucalyptus oil courtesy of the bride!

In a twist on the traditional flower-bouquet toss, Corrie even threw a can of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray into the crowd.

“Whoever gets this will be very lucky, because it’s multi-purpose!!” she cheekily slipped in on-air, before her sister-in-law caught the can.

Members of the FGB sales team were there to see the ceremony which they described as “moving” and “hilarious”.  “Corrie was the best Bosisto’s bride ever!” they said.
