This makes it more delicate and less resilient. It also loses moisture more quickly than adult skin, and its protective barrier is not yet fully developed which makes a baby’s skin super-absorbent and susceptible to external irritants, all the way up to age one.

Women’s handbags are contaminated with more bacteria than the average toilet, a new study has revealed.

<--break->Tests showed that one in five handbag handles is home to sufficient bacteria to pose a risk to human health.  Leather handbags were the most bacteria-ridden as the spongy texture provides the perfect conditions for bacteria to grow.
